Epizootic: adj. Outbreak of a disease: affecting many animals of one kind at the same time. Epidemic: An epizootic disease: specific: Equine Influenza. Authors note: Assuming farm animals since Equine refers to horse. So to go further; sheep, cattle, even buffalo etc. any hoofed animals.
